歌gē 林lín多duō 前qián 書shū第dì八bā 章zhāng	1 Corinthians 8
1 論lún 到dào 祭jì 偶ǒu像xiàng 之zhī 物wù 、 我wǒ們men 曉xiǎo得de 我wǒ們men 都dōu 有yǒu知zhī識shì ． 但dàn 知zhī識shi 是shì 叫jiào 人rén 自zì高gāo自zì大dà 、 惟wéi有yǒu 愛ài心xīn 能néng 造zào就jiù 人rén 。	1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
2 若ruò有yǒu 人rén 以yǐ為wéi 自zì己jǐ 知zhī道dao 甚shén麼me 、 按àn 他tā 所suǒ當dāng 知zhī道dao 的de 、 他tā 仍réng是shì 不bù知zhī道dào ．	2 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
3 若ruò有yǒu 人rén愛ài 神shén 、 這zhè 人rén 乃nǎi是shì 神shén 所suǒ 知zhī道dao 的de 。	3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
4 論lún 到dào 喫chī 祭jì 偶ǒu像xiàng 之zhī 物wù 、 我wǒ們men 知zhī道dao 偶ǒu像xiàng 在zài 世shì上shàng 算suàn不bù得dé 甚shén麼me ． 也yě 知zhī道dao 神shén 只zhǐ有yǒu 一yī位wèi 、 再zài 沒méi有yǒu 別bié的de 神shén 。	4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
5 雖suī有yǒu 稱chēng為wéi 神shén 的de 、 或huò 在zài 天tiān 、 或huò 在zài 地de ． 就jiù 如rú 那nà 許xǔ多duō 的de 神shén 、 許xǔ多duō 的de 主zhǔ ．	5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
6 然rán而ér 我wǒ們men 只zhǐ有yǒu 一yī位wèi 神shén 、 就jiù是shì 父fù 萬wàn物wù 都dōu 本běn 於yú 他tā 、 我wǒ們men 也yě 歸guī於yú 他tā ． 並bìng 有yǒu 一yī位wèi 主zhǔ 、 就jiù是shì 耶yē穌sū基jī督dū 、 萬wàn物wù 都dōu 是shì 藉jiè著zhe 他tā 有yǒu的de 、 我wǒ們men 也yě 是shì 藉jiè著zhe 他tā 有yǒu的de 。	6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
7 但dàn 人rén 不bù 都dōu 有yǒu 這zhè等děng 知zhī識shi ． 有yǒu人rén 到dào 如rú今jīn 因yīn 拜bài 慣guàn了le 偶ǒu像xiàng 、 就jiù 以yǐ為wéi 所suǒ 喫chī 的de 是shì 祭jì 偶ǒu像xiàng 之zhī 物wù ． 他tā們men的de 良liáng心xīn 既jì然rán 軟ruǎn弱ruò 、 也yě 就jiù 污wū穢huì 了le 。	7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
8 其qí實shí 食shí物wù 不bù能néng 叫jiào 神shén 看kàn中zhōng 我wǒ們men ． 因yīn為wèi 我wǒ們men 不bù 喫chī 也yě 無wú損sǔn 、 喫chī 也yě 無wú益yì 。	8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
9 只zhǐ是shì 們men 們men 要yào 謹jǐn慎shèn 、 恐kǒng怕pà 你nǐ們men 這zhè 自zì由yóu 、 竟jìng 成chéng了le 那nà 軟ruǎn弱ruò 人rén 的de 絆bàn腳jiǎo石shí 。	9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
10 若ruò有yǒu 人rén 見jiàn 你nǐ 這zhè有yǒu 知zhī識shi 的de 、 在zài 偶ǒu像xiàng 的de 廟miào裡lǐ 坐zuò席xí 、 這zhè 人rén 的de 良liáng心xīn 、 若ruò是shì 軟ruǎn弱ruò 、 豈qǐ不bù 放fàng膽dǎn 去qù 喫chī 那nà 祭jì 偶ǒu像xiàng 之zhī 物wù 麼me 。	10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
11 因yīn此cǐ 、 基jī督dū 為wèi 他tā 死sǐ 的de 那nà 軟ruǎn弱ruò 弟dì兄xiōng 、 也yě 就jiù 因yīn 你nǐ的de 知zhī識shi 沉chén淪lún 了le 。	11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
12 你nǐ們men 這zhè樣yàng 得dé罪zuì 弟dì兄xiōng們mén 、 傷shāng 了le 他tā們men 軟ruǎn弱ruò 的de 良liáng心xīn 、 就jiù是shì 得dé罪zuì 基jī督dū 。	12 But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
13 所suǒ以yǐ 食shí物wù 若ruò 叫jiào 我wǒ 弟dì兄xiōng 跌diē倒dǎo 、 我wǒ 就jiù 永yǒng遠yuǎn 不bù 喫chī 肉ròu 、 免miǎn得dé 叫jiào 我wǒ 弟dì兄xiōng 跌diē倒dǎo 了le 。	13 Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.
