| 約翰一書第三 章 |
1 John 3 |
| 1 你 看 父 賜給 我們 是 何等 的 慈愛 、 使 我們 得 稱為 神 的 兒女 ． 我們 也 真是 他的 兒女 ． 世人 所以 不認識 我們 、 是 因 未曾 認識 他 。 |
1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. |
| 2 親愛的 弟兄 阿 、 我們 現在 是 神 的 兒女 、 將來 如何 、 還未 顯明 ． 但 我們 知道 主 若 顯現 、 我們 必要 像 他 ． 因為 必得 見 他的 真 體 。 |
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. |
| 3 凡 向 他 有 這 指望 的 、 就 潔淨 自己 、 像 他 潔淨 一樣 。 |
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. |
| 4 凡 犯罪 的 、 就是 違背 律法 ． 違背 律法 就是 罪 。 |
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. |
| 5 你們 知道 主 曾 顯現 、 是 要 除掉 人 的 罪 ． 在 他 並沒有 罪 。 |
5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. |
| 6 凡 住在 他 裡面 的 、 就 不犯 罪 ． 凡 犯罪 的 、 是 未曾 看見 他 、 也 未曾 認識 他 。 |
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. |
| 7 小子 們 哪 、 不要 被 人 誘惑 、 行 義 的 纔 是 義人 ． 正如 主 是 義 的 一樣 。 |
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. |
| 8 犯罪 的 是 屬 魔鬼 、 因為 魔鬼 從 起初 就 犯罪 。 神 的 兒子 顯現 出來 、 為 要 除滅 魔鬼 的 作為 。 |
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. |
| 9 凡 從 神 生的 、 就 不犯 罪 、 因 神 的 道 〔 原文 作 種 〕 存在 他 心裡 ． 他 也 不能 犯罪 、 因為 他 是 由 神 生的 。 |
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. |
| 10 從此 就 顯出 誰 是 神 的 兒女 、 誰 是 魔鬼 的 兒女 ． 凡 不行 義 的 、 就 不屬 神 ． 不愛 弟兄 的 也 是 如此 。 |
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. |
| 11 我們 應當 彼此 相愛 ． 這 就是 你們 從 起初 所 聽見 的 命令 。 |
11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. |
| 12 不可 像 該隱 ． 他 是 屬 那 惡者 、 殺 了 他的 兄弟 。 為甚麼 殺 了 他 呢 ． 因 自己的 行為 是 惡 的 、 兄弟 的 行為 是 善 的 。 |
12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. |
| 13 弟兄們 、 世人 若 恨 你們 、 不要 以為 希奇 。 |
13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. |
| 14 我們 因為 愛 弟兄 、 就 曉得 是 已經 出 死 入 生了 。 沒有 愛心 的 、 仍 住在 死 中 。 |
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. |
| 15 凡 恨 他 弟兄 的 、 就是 殺人 的 ． 你們 曉得 凡 殺人 的 、 沒有 永生 存在 他 裡面 。 |
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. |
| 16 主 為 我們 捨命 、 我們 從此 就 知道 何為 愛 ． 我們 也 當 為 弟兄 捨命 。 |
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. |
| 17 凡有 世上 財物 的 、 看見 弟兄 窮乏 、 卻 塞住 憐恤 的 心 、 愛 神 的 心 怎能 存在 他 裡面 呢 。 |
17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? |
| 18 小子 們 哪 、 我們 相愛 、 不要 只 在 言語 和 舌頭 上 ． 總要 在 行為 和 誠實 上 。 |
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. |
| 19 從此 、 就 知道 我們 是 屬 真理 的 、 並且 我們 的 心 在 神 面前 可以 安穩 。 |
19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. |
| 20 我們 的 心 若 責備 我們 、 神 比 我們 的 心 大 、 一切事 沒有 不知道 的 。 |
20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. |
| 21 親愛的 弟兄 阿 、 我們 的 心 若不 責備 我們 、 就 可以 向 神 坦然 無 懼 了 ． |
21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. |
| 22 並且 我們 一切 所求 的 、 就 從 他 得著 ． 因為 我們 遵守 他的 命令 、 行 他 所 喜悅 的 事 。 |
22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. |
| 23 神 的 命令 就是 叫 我們 信 他 兒子 耶穌基督 的 名 、 且 照 他 所 賜給 我們 的 命令 彼此 相愛 。 |
23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. |
| 24 遵守 神 命令 的 、 就 住在 神 裡面 ． 神 也 住在 他 裡面 。 我們 所以 知道 神 住在 我們 裡面 、 是 因 他 所 賜給 我們 的 聖靈 。 |
24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. |
