馬mǎ太tài福fú音yīn第dì十shí四sì 章zhāng	Matthew 14
1 那nà時shí 分fēn封fēng 的de 王wáng 希xī律lǜ 、 聽tīng見jiàn 耶yē穌sū 的de 名míng聲shēng 、	1 At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,
2 就jiù 對duì 臣chén僕pú 說shuō 、 這zhè 是shì 施shī洗xǐ 的de 約yuē翰hàn 從cóng 死sǐ 裡lǐ 復fù活huó 、 所suǒ以yǐ 這zhè些xie 異yì 能néng 從cóng 他tā 裡lǐ面miàn 發fā出chū 來lái 。	2 And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
3 起qǐ先xiān 希xī律lǜ 為wèi 他tā 兄xiōng弟dì 腓féi力lì 的de 妻qī子zi 希xī羅luó底dǐ 的de 緣yuán故gù 、 把bǎ 約yuē翰hàn 拿ná住zhù 鎖suǒ 在zài 監jiān 裡lǐ 。	3 For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.
4 因yīn為wèi 約yuē翰hàn 曾céng 對duì 他tā 說shuō 、 你nǐ 娶qǔ 這zhè 婦fù人rén 是shì 不bù合hé理lǐ 的de 。	4 For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.
5 希xī律lǜ 就jiù 想xiǎng要yào 殺shā 他tā 、 只zhǐ是shì 怕pà 百bǎi姓xìng ． 因yīn為wèi 他tā們men 以yǐ 約yuē翰hàn 為wèi 先xiān知zhī 。	5 And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.
6 到dào了le 希xī律lǜ 的de 生shēng日rì 、 希xī羅luó底dǐ 的de 女nǚ兒ér 、 在zài 眾zhòng人rén 面miàn前qián 跳tiào舞wǔ 、 使shǐ 希xī律lǜ 歡huān喜xǐ 。	6 But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.
7 希xī律lǜ 就jiù 起qǐ誓shì 、 應yìng許xǔ 隨suí 他tā 所suǒ求qiú 的de 給gěi 他tā 。	7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.
8 女nǚ兒ér 被bèi 母mǔ親qīn 所suǒ 使shǐ 、 就jiù 說shuō 、 請qǐng 把bǎ 施shī洗xǐ約yuē翰hàn 的de 頭tóu 、 放fàng在zài 盤pán子zi 裡lǐ 、 拿ná來lái 給gěi 我wǒ 。	8 And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.
9 王wáng 便biàn 憂yōu愁chóu 、 但dàn 因yīn 他tā 所suǒ 起qǐ 的de 誓shì 、 又yòu 因yīn 同tóng席xí 的de 人rén 、 就jiù 吩fēn咐fù 給gěi 他tā 。	9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.
10 於yú是shì 打dǎ發fā 人rén 去qù 、 在zài 監jiān 裡lǐ 斬zhǎn 了le 約yuē翰hàn ．	10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.
11 把bǎ頭tóu 放fàng在zài 盤pán子zi 裡lǐ 、 拿ná來lái 給gěi 了le 女nǚ子zǐ ． 女nǚ子zǐ 拿ná去qù 給gěi 他tā 母mǔ親qīn 。	11 And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.
12 約yuē翰hàn 的de 門mén徒tú 來lái 、 把bǎ 屍shī首shǒu 領lǐng 去qù 、 埋mái葬zàng 了le ． 就jiù去qù 告gào訴su 耶yē穌sū 。	12 And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.
13 耶yē穌sū 聽tīng見jiàn 了le 、 就jiù 上shàng船chuán 從cóng 那nà裡li 獨dú自zì 退tuì到dào 野yě地dì 裡lǐ 去qù ． 眾zhòng人rén 聽tīng見jiàn 、 就jiù 從cóng 各gè 城chéng裡lǐ 步bù行xíng 跟gēn隨suí 他tā 。	13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
14 耶yē穌sū 出chū來lai 、 見jiàn 有yǒu 許xǔ多duō 的de 人rén 、 就jiù 憐lián憫mǐn 他tā們men 、 治zhì好hǎo 了le 他tā們men的de 病bìng人rén 。	14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
15 天tiān 將jiāng 晚wǎn 的de時shí候hòu 、 門mén徒tú 進jìn 前qián來lái 說shuō 、 這zhè 是shì 野yě地dì 、 時shí候hòu 已yǐ經jīng 過guò了le ． 請qǐng 叫jiào 眾zhòng人rén 散sàn開kāi 、 他tā們men 好hǎo 往wǎng 村cūn子zi 裡lǐ 去qù 、 自zì己jǐ 買mǎi 喫chī 的de 。	15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
16 耶yē穌sū 說shuō 、 不bù用yòng 他tā們men 去qù 、 你nǐ們men 給gěi 他tā們men 喫chī 罷bà 。	16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.
17 門mén徒tú 說shuō 、 我wǒ們men 這zhè裡lǐ 只zhǐ有yǒu 五wǔ個ge 餅bǐng 、 兩liǎng條tiáo 魚yú 。	17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
18 耶yē穌sū 說shuō 、 拿ná 過guò來lái 給gěi 我wǒ 。	18 He said, Bring them hither to me.
19 於yú是shì 吩fēn咐fù 眾zhòng人rén 坐zuò在zài 草cǎo地dì 上shàng ． 就jiù 拿ná著zhe 這zhè 五wǔ個ge 餅bǐng 、 兩liǎng條tiáo 魚yú 、 望wàng著zhe 天tiān 、 祝zhù福fú 、 擘bāi開kāi 餅bǐng 、 遞dì給gěi 門mén徒tú ． 門mén徒tú 又yòu 遞dì給gěi 眾zhòng人rén 。	19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
20 他tā們men 都dōu 喫chī 、 並bìng且qiě 喫chī 飽bǎo 了le ． 把bǎ 剩shèng下xià 的de 零líng碎suì 收shōu拾shi 起qǐ來lai 、 裝zhuāng滿mǎn 了le 十shí二èr個ge 籃lán子zi 。	20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
21 喫chī 的de 人rén 除chú了le 婦fù女nǚ 孩hái子zi 、 約yuē 有yǒu 五wǔ千qiān 。	21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.
22 耶yē穌sū 隨suí即jí 催cuī 門mén徒tú 上shàng船chuán 、 先xiān 渡dù 到dào 那nà邊bian 去qù 、 等děng 他tā 叫jiào 眾zhòng人rén 散sàn開kāi 。	22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
23 散sàn了le 眾zhòng人rén 以yǐ後hòu 、 他tā 就jiù 獨dú自zì 上shàng山shān 去qù 禱dǎo告gào ． 到dào了le 晚wǎn上shang 、 只zhǐ有yǒu 他tā 一yī人rén 在zài那nà裡lǐ 。	23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
24 那nà時shí 船chuán 在zài 海hǎi中zhōng 、 因yīn 風fēng 不bù順shùn 、 被bèi 浪làng 搖yáo撼hàn 。	24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
25 夜yè裡lǐ 四sì 更gèng 天tiān 、 耶yē穌sū 在zài 海hǎi面miàn 上shàng 走zǒu 、 往wǎng 門mén徒tú 那nà裡li 去qù 。	25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
26 門mén徒tú 看kàn見jiàn 他tā 在zài 海hǎi面miàn 上shàng 走zǒu 、 就jiù 驚jīng慌huāng 了le 、 說shuō 、 是shì 個ge 鬼guǐ怪guài ． 便biàn 害hài怕pà 、 喊hǎn叫jiào 起qǐ來lai 。	26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27 耶yē穌sū 連lián忙máng 對duì 他tā們men 說shuō 、 你nǐ們men 放fàng心xīn ． 是shì 我wǒ 、 不bù要yào 怕pà 。	27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
28 彼bǐ得dé 說shuō 、 主zhǔ 、 如rú果guǒ 是shì 你nǐ 、 請qǐng 叫jiào 我wǒ 從cóng 水shuǐ面miàn上shàng 走zǒu到dào 你nǐ 那nà裡li 去qù 。	28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
29 耶yē穌sū 說shuō 、 你nǐ 來lái 罷bà 。 彼bǐ得dé 就jiù 從cóng 船chuán上shàng 下xià去qu 、 在zài 水shuǐ面miàn上shàng 走zǒu 、 要yào 到dào 耶yē穌sū 那nà裡li 去qù ．	29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
30 只zhǐ 因yīn 見jiàn風fēng 甚shén大dà 、 就jiù 害hài怕pà ． 將jiāng 要yào 沉chén下xià 去qù 、 便biàn 喊hǎn著zhe 說shuō 、 主zhǔ 阿ā 、 救jiù 我wǒ 。	30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31 耶yē穌sū 趕gǎn緊jǐn 伸shēn手shǒu 拉lā住zhù 他tā 、 說shuō 、 你nǐ 這zhè 小xiǎo 信xìn 的de 人rén 哪nǎ 、 為wèi甚shén麼me 疑yí惑huò 呢ne 。	31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
32 他tā們men 上shàng了le 船chuán 、 風fēng 就jiù 住zhù了le 。	32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
33 在zài 船chuán上shàng 的de 人rén 都dōu 拜bài 他tā 說shuō 、 你nǐ 真zhēn是shì 神shén 的de 兒ér子zi 了le 。	33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
34 他tā們men 過guò了le 海hǎi 、 來lái到dào 革gé尼ní撒sā勒lè 地dì方fang 。	34 And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.
35 那nà裡li 的de 人rén 、 一yī 認rèn出chū 是shì 耶yē穌sū 、 就jiù 打dǎ發fā 人rén 到dào 周zhōu圍wéi 地dì方fang 去qù 、 把bǎ 所suǒ有yǒu 的de 病bìng人rén 、 帶dài到dào 他tā 那nà裡li ．	35 And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;
36 只zhǐ 求qiú 耶yē穌sū 准zhǔn 他tā們men 摸mō 他tā的de 衣yī裳shang 繸suì子zi 、 摸mō著zhe 的de 人rén 、 就jiù 都dōu好hǎo 了le 。	36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.
