Instructions for installing Chinese GIF creator:

1.  Download hangif.tgz and place it into your
CGI directory.

2.  Unzip and untar hangif.tgz
 > gunzip hangif.tgz
 > tar xvf hangif.tar

3.  If you want to create GIF's of Chinese
web pages, you'll also need to install lynx.
See http://lynx.browser.org for more information.

4.  Make sure that the path for perl in hangif.cgi
is correct.

5. Put hangif.html into the your web directory.
Change the URL to hangif.cgi in the file to 
reflect the location on your web server.

6.  Enjoy your own Chinese character GIF's.
Feel free to expand and improve upon the program,
such as adding more fonts or the ability to do
transparent GIF's.  Please credit me in the
program or web page.
