Hello and welcome to my home page. My name is Erik Peterson and I hope that the small collection of links here will be of use to others besides myself. By day I'm a computer programmer and linguist working towards a Ph.D. at the Language Technologies Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, by night I play on the web.

Please visit my collection of on-line and off-line Chinese tools designed to help people learn and use Chinese. They include a Chinese-English dictionary, flashcards, and Western-Chinese calendar converter.

My wife is the lovely Margaret Peterson, whose smile and warmth give joy to my life. She and a friend have a company selling church quiet books.

To see where my interest in Chinese started, please visit the LDS Info page.

Take a moment to visit the site of Carl Schneider, an author friend of mine and check out his book White Collar Crisis.
